We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician who can be considered ambitious, a team player, self-sufficient, and compassionate with the ability to delegate duties and work independently when needed. A great love and passion to help animals is an absolute must!
Skills required but not limited to:
- Client Education and excellent customer service skills
- Inventory
- Taking complete patient history
- Appropriate animal restraint
- IV catheters
- Blood draws, sample collections
- Cytology (ears, skin, urine, fecal)
- Radiology
- Dentals
- Anesthetic monitoring
- In house Lab work (Idexx and Abaxis)
CVT and knowledge of Avimark a plus! We are looking for a long term team member. Excellent benefits package offered after 90 days of employment. Open availability required. We are a drug free workplace, and a smoke free campus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
